The high efficacy of Aminon WSP amino acids in cotton cultivation

On this occasion we share a trial aimed to demonstrate the high efficacy of Aminon WSP amino acids in cotton cultivation. Considering that cotton is one of the most important industrial crops in the world, it was important for our team of agronomists to compare the effectiveness of Aminon WSP, our solution with 80% free amino acid of plant origin, against other products which are the similar products on the market, although they are from animal origin.

Details of the Experiment

Our newest product, Aminon WSP, is a plant-based, water-soluble, powder amino acid that is also registered as an eco-organic fertilizer. In this test, we wanted to compare its effects on the cotton crop with respect to those of four other amino acids of animal origin.

Specifically, we will verify the high efficacy of Aminon WSP compared to Colostrum, Isabion, Seramino Small, Seramino Medium and the an amino acid-free control site. The doses were:

1. Aminon WSP 50 g / da              
2. Seramino Small 250 ml / 100 L water
3. Colostrum 250 ml / 100 L water
4. Seramino Medium 250 ml / 100 L water
5. Isabion 250 ml / 100 L water
6. The control (30 L de water / 1000 m2 are used)

The trial, which was carried out in November 2020 in Adana (Turkey), was developed in plots of 25 square meters, in which a single treatment was applied, by spraying, at the time of transition from flower to capsule. For the study, the following variables were measured on days 1st, 7th and 14th:

• Plant height (cm).
• Cocoon height (cm).
• The diameter of the cocoon (cm).

And, after the harvest, the weight of the cocoon (g) was measured, the data that confirmed, as we will see later in the results graphs, that Aminon WSP from MAFA significantly improves the quality of the harvest and, in addition, with a product certified for use in organic and organic farming.
